This book is a blast from the past for Soren. It does a riveting job of explaining some of Soren’s personal history that gets hinted at in /The Descendants/ and /The Calling/. I would recommend reading this book after reading those other two, but I don’t think it would in any way ruin the other books to read this one first. It’s just the this book will be more meaningful if you’ve read the other two first.
