Artemis is still the villain in this story. I didn't like him in the first book and dislike him more in this book. Rayah is still struggling to find her inner lighter powers and Rayah's friends are finding new ways to help her. I can't get enough of this sega and am looking forward to book 3. (Yes, there is a cliffhanger but I am looking forward to the next book. This book was definitely worth the wait. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
